Terms

What you agree to by using Tradekraft, and what we agree to in return.

Who may use it

Membership is by invitation. You come in through a production you are working on, or through a member who puts your name forward. Nobody buys their way in.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give must be yours and accurate. An account created for someone else, or under a name that is not yours, is not a member record and will be removed.

Your record is yours

The record of you on Tradekraft belongs to you. Your credits, your rates, who represents you, and the work itself. We hold it, we do not own it.

You can correct what is presentation. You cannot silently rewrite what is fact: a credit agreed by the people who were there is not editable by one of them afterwards, because that is the property that makes it worth having.

We do not sell it, and we do not license it to anyone else.

What we ask of you

Do not misrepresent who you are or who you have worked for. Do not scrape, resell or republish other members' details. Do not use Tradekraft to approach members for anything other than work.

An invitation names who opened the door, and it reads from both sides. If someone you brought in abuses the place, that is visible.

When we text you

One reason only: a code, to prove a phone number is yours. You ask for it from your own account page, so asking and consenting are the same act. It arrives once and expires in ten minutes. We do not text you about anything else.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Stopping does not close your account, but it does mean we can no longer prove a number that way, so the member who invited you reads the code to you instead.

We do not sell your number, and we do not give it to anyone else so they can sell to you.

Ending it

Closing an account closes it, the way a bank does: access ends, and what must be kept is kept.

Your credits stay. Work on a production that credited you belongs to that production’s record as well as yours, and it does not disappear because you left.

What goes is what identifies you personally. Social security and national insurance numbers, driving licences, passports, company tax numbers: cleared, except where a law or a jurisdiction requires us to hold them.

You can leave a forwarding contact, an address, an email, or whoever represents you, so somebody trying to reach you about old work still can. The same for a company you ran.

You can ask us for a copy of your record.

We can end an account for the conduct above. When we do, we say which term was broken.

What we do not promise

Tradekraft is early. Features change, and things break. We do not promise the service is uninterrupted or error free.

We do promise that a failure on our side is never a reason your record becomes ours, and never a reason a member loses work they have already done.
